Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the website at great.pm (the "site"), which is operated by great.pm ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About the site
The site is a personal website. It offers explainer videos and short courses on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), project management and mental models. Using the site is free and needs no account.
The Great PM Publisher application is for the personal use of the owner only and is not provided as a service to third parties. It is a private tool that the owner uses to manage the owner's own YouTube channel, and it is described in section 9 of our Privacy Policy. These terms do not give you any right to use it.
2. Use of content
All content on the site belongs to great.pm or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This includes text, videos, course materials, images, graphics and design. Third-party trademarks and materials belong to their owners.
You may view and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may share links to pages on the site. Unless we have given you written permission, you may not:
- copy, redistribute, republish, sell or sublicense the content;
- modify the content or create derivative works from it;
- use the content in training courses, paid products or commercial services;
- remove copyright or other notices.
Nothing in these terms limits uses that the law allows without permission, such as fair use, fair dealing or quotation with attribution. To ask for permission, email me@great.pm.
3. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site. For example, do not interfere with its security or operation, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
4. Educational information only
The content is general educational information. It is not professional, regulatory, quality, compliance or legal advice. It does not replace applicable laws and regulations, official guidance from regulators, your organisation's procedures, or advice from a qualified professional. Regulations and practices differ by country and change over time. Always check current official sources before acting. Any examples and case studies are simplified for teaching.
5. Third-party links and embedded content
The site links to third-party platforms such as YouTube and Bilibili, and plays videos in players those platforms provide. A player loads only after you click play. Clicking play connects your browser directly to that provider, as explained in section 4 of our Privacy Policy. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, for example the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It forms part of these terms.
7. Disclaimer
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law permits, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
The site is offered free of charge. To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content, or from your reliance on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country, or your rights under data protection law (see the laws listed in section 12 of our Privacy Policy). If any part of these terms conflicts with such mandatory rights, the mandatory rights prevail.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "last updated" date. For material changes, we will place a notice on the site before the changes take effect. Changes do not apply to anything that happened before they take effect. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, the updated terms will apply.
11. Disputes
If you have a concern or a dispute about the site or these terms, please contact us first at me@great.pm. We will try to resolve it promptly through good-faith negotiation. This does not affect your right to contact a regulator or to use any remedy that mandatory law gives you.
12. General
- Severability. If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the terms remain in effect.
- Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. They replace any earlier terms about it.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
- Language. These terms are published in English and Chinese. Each version is authoritative for readers of that language. If the two versions differ in meaning, the reading more favourable to you applies.
